About Oodlepaloodles
Why Oodlepaloodles? I grew up having a natural passion for animals. I was constantly watching Animal Planet and reading all I could about animals (even dinosaur's!). I fell in love with dogs at an early age, and had the wonderful opportunity to help out at a local grooming/daycare/boarding salon during my teen years.
This passion grew to becoming a Bather for a corporate salon and eventually getting my Grooming Certification through them. Later on I worked at a private salon and honed my skills even more in grooming.
I came up with the dream of Oodlepaloodles as a environment where I can provide a low-stress atmosphere, and individualized care plan for each dog I service.
In leu of improving Oodlepaloodles, I am now a Certified Canine Esthetician ready to help improve the lives of dogs with different skin needs. I am constantly hungry for extended education and do my best to help educate pet parents on their dogs needs.

Basic Therapy Skin & Fur Treatment Package by IV San Bernard

Pets that suffer from crusts, sores, hair loss, redness, irritation, infections (bacterial and/or fungal), lumps/bumps/, hot spots, and/or odor. Treatment is 1-2x per week until skin has recovered and all signs gone for at least two weeks. Average 6-8 weeks is required.

For the safety, and comfort of all pets, additional sanitation may be required for services needing extra cleaning & disinfecting.
Examples include flea infestations, open sores, active infections, excessive yeast, or strong skin odor. Sanitation fees are assessed at the groomers discretion based on condition at time of service.
De- Shed Treatment

Required for double-coated and heavy-shedding breeds. This service removes excess undercoat using specialized tools, products, high-velocity drying, and extra brushing time to reduce shedding and maintain coat health.
Matted Full Body Shave Down

Severely matted coats cannot be brushed out without causing pain or injury. When matting is present, the coat must be shaved down to safely remove the tangles and protect the dog’s skin. This service requires additional time and care.
De-Matting

Light matting may be carefully brushed out when it is safe and humane to do so. This service requires additional time and is charged per minute. Severely matted coats will require a shave-down for the dog’s comfort and safety.

Safety & Behavioral Protocols
A specialized service for dogs with severe dryer-induced panic. All final pricing is determined at the appointment based on the dog's size, temperament, and specialized product needs.
MANDATORY ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
By booking this, you agree that your dog will be returned DAMP and that NO nails, brushing, or mechanical drying will be performed. This is a safety measure, not a budget option.
This is a non-standard grooming protocol designed strictly for short-haired dogs whose safety is compromised by the stress of a traditional grooming environment. This is a "last resort" option for owners of highly reactive or panicked dogs; it is not a discounted alternative to a full groom.
Exclusionary Criteria:
To ensure a safe environment, this service is only available for single-coated breeds (e.g., Boxers, Pitbulls, Frenchies, Bullies, Short-haired Chihuahuas). We cannot offer this for double-coated breeds as air-drying can lead to skin irritation.
As per our general agreement, the service will be terminated immediately if the process is deemed dangerous for the dog or the stylist
Estimated Time: 60 minutes or less.
The Safety Protocol Includes:
- Targeted Therapeutic Bath: A high-quality wash using specialized shampoo and conditioner selected for your dog’s specific skin chemistry.
- Ear Cleaning: A gentle, manual cleaning to maintain hygiene without causing distress.
- Manual Towel-Dry Only: We use high-absorbency towels to remove excess water. By eliminating all mechanical dryers, brushes, and nail trimmings, we prevent the panic responses that lead to dangerous heart rate spikes and physical injury.
Client Disclaimer & Home Preparation:
Because we prioritize physical and emotional safety over a "finished" look, your dog will be returned to you clean but damp. We do not use any tools or forced-air systems during this appointment. Please have a warm, draft-free area ready for your dog to relax in after their service.
Disclaimer
The Safety-First Protocol is a restricted welfare service. If upon arrival it is determined that your dog does not meet the safety criteria (e.g. is not a single-coat breed or does not exhibit severe anxiety), the service will be converted to a Standard Bath and priced accordingly to ensure proper hygiene and care, and may be subject to reschedule.
